If you don’t read this post, you won’t be missing much

It’s like Singapore out in Toronto tonight. The humidity feels high and looking over the balcony the city is smothered with low-flying clouds. Summer is here.

It’s been a quiet day. Glen and I both got up late but still went to the gym. He’s on an academic day so had research to do. I spoke to my sister but soon after that (it was about 11am), I could barely stay awake so I went back to bed.

I woke up four hours later.

Either I’m fighting off an illness or I just really needed some extra sleep. Perhaps it’s the change in weather. I woke up feeling a bit groggy, surprised that half the day had gone. Glen and I then went for lunch down the road and then bought some more Nespresso pods.

I worked a bit more on my manuscript while Glen worked on his (he’s writing a paper). Evening was quiet. I made dinner. We watched an episode of Sherlock (not loving the third season as much as the others). And I looked up a few things for us to do in Salzburg.

So, as you can see, it’s all happening here.

  1. Even the good life can have a slow day. Great job hitting the gym.
