On our final day in the Galapagos islands, we went to the Charles Darwin Research Station and checked out their breeding tortoises. It was really hot and humid that day so our energy levels were low. In the afternoon, I went to El Chato Tortoise Reserve to see Galapagos tortoises in the wild. I was so happy to see them in their natural habitat. It really rounded out the trip.
