It’s been a fun filled Saturday. Unfortunately there was no lie in. Our body clocks have been set to go off at 6am now. We got up soon after and went to the gym.
Afterwards, Glen cooked a yummy omelette, I packed my luggage for my train trip, and around 1pm, we went and had lunch with Rob.
We tried a new-for-us place on Ossington Ave, called Delux. Anna recommended it. We couldn’t get a proper lunch as breakfast seems to be the only meal you can get in Toronto on the weekend. Still, the food was very nice and the dohnut balls at the end were delicious. I’d like to go back for their dinner menu. Less impressive were the service and the drinks.
Afterwards Glen and I went to Eaton Centre to buy some clothes, then went home and crashed on the couch, enjoying an afternoon nap.
In the evening we spontaneously went for dinner at Ginger with Tim, Vaughan, Pete and Royden, then to the movies to see Divergent. I liked the sound track but the rest of the movie was a bit bland. Kate Winslet plays a good evil character.
After that, it was a rush to get back to the condo to collect my luggage and head down to Union Station to board the train to Vancouver.
Glen was very good and carried one I my suitcases for me and came with me to the station.
The train had been delayed for two hours and was due to depart at midnight. It’s now leaving at quarter past midnight. It’s nearly 11:30 and still no sign of boarding. I hope my luggage won’t be overweight.
I’m looking forward to climbing onto my upper berth and going to sleep. More to come in the days ahead.

What do you say, eh?
