Hi there, thanks for stopping by.

I’m in my 40s and originally from Perth, Western Australia. I started this blog in 2013 when I moved to Toronto for two years with my partner – hence the name, twoaussiesincanada. We were there for two years and made the most of our time visiting a lot of Canada and many other places in that part of the world that seem so out of reach from Australia.

After returning, I continued the blog as the travel bug had well-and-truly taken hold and while my life has changed, and who I share it with, I’ve managed to keep up a steady pace of travel ever since.

Nature and wildlife are my main interests when it comes to travel. I think I overdosed on cathedrals and castles in my 20s and now look most for places that get me out into the wild – though still happy to see what the cities have to offer.

Not every trip is recorded, not every adventure makes it here, but overall, it’s a fairly good record of the places I’ve been and the things I’ve done.
